Presenting Max and Lucy!
These sweet pups are registered Coton du Tulear. Lucy was born without a tail - just to add to her charm and sweet Max is the male
They are 10 years old and very healthy, both are fixed and microchipped and have all their shots.
Max and Lucy recently lost their beloved human. They are used to living with a single senior person. They enjoy being outside and had access to a doggy door to let themselves out, and access to a 5 acre property with invisible fencing. They are not accustomed to being walked on leash. Max and Lucy are sweet and affectionate. They are crate trained for nighttime and they are good with other dogs and cats.

Adopting a Dog
The matchmaking is the most important part!
We work hard to make sure that dog finds the best possible home for them
We carefully match dogs to homes for which they are suitable and compatible.
And we work with applicants to assess and match their lifestyle with the right dog.
After an initial interview, applicants will be asked to provide references.
Adopters must agree to a virtual home check prior to adoption.
An adoption contract will be sent by email, and it must be signed and dated, scanned and returned.
An adoption fee is required. Our adoption fee is currently $600.
We do reserve the right to deny an adoption applicant.
All of the dogs in our rescue are (age appropriately) spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
Other veterinary care as needed will have been done.
For many reasons we only adopt to residents of Ontario.
To apply to adopt a dog, please use our online form to submit an adoption application.
Or, you can download the application, fill it out and email it back to us.
Shelter animals come from diverse situations and backgrounds.
Often they have lost their home through no fault of their own but due to changes in their previous family's life.
They are not broken or damaged, but just need a home and love.
