Adopting Smaller Paws
The matchmaking is the most important part!
We carefully match them to homes for which they are suitable and compatible.
And we work with applicants to assess and match their lifestyle with the right creature.
After an initial interview, because of Covid, adopters must agree to a virtual home check.
An adoption contract will be sent by email, and it must be signed and dated, scanned and returned.
An adoption fee is required. Our adoption fee varies depending on the type of creature.
We do reserve the right to deny an adoption applicant.
Please contact us to let us know what type of creature you are looking to adopt.
We network with lots of other Ontario shelters and may know where your new friend is waiting.
To apply to adopt small paws, please download the application, fill it out and email it back to us.
Or you can use our online form to submit an adoption application.
Shelter animals come from diverse situations and backgrounds.
Often they have lost their home through no fault of their own but due to changes in their previous family's life.
They are not broken or damaged, but just need a home and love.
